DBNPS Refueled Reactor Core
This photograph shows the distribution of new fuel
bundles with those that have
been "Burned" from operation in previous cycles. Again, there is Cerenkov
radiation present, but not as noticeable. The reactor core is under a minimum
neutron absorbing cover of 23 feet of borated water! See also the DB 13RFO
photographs for a digital camera version!
